These, and more, are some of the scents in my life that I enjoy, it’s not meant to be an exhaustive list. When you’re done reading, what scents do you enjoy? Add them in the comments and let’s have some fun with this!Tom
My children’s hair after being outside in any season
A grassy field, covered in dew, just warming up from the sun
Garlic and Onion cooking in practically any style
Fresh water springs and lakes
A ribeye over open flames in my backyard
Sagebrush and conifer trees in the mountains
Freshly fried foods and grilled meat in the cool fall and winter air
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin three-wick candles from Bath & Body Works (because I’m a little Basic…)
A really hot or really cold day
Hours long rainshowers
Pipe tobacco and a freshly lit cigarette – though I don’t smoke
Halloween candy all mixed together in a plastic jack-o-lantern basket
White and Pink Cherry Blossoms
Woodsmoke from campfires and meat smokers
A forest floor with wet or dry leaves
Lawn clippings and freshly cut grass

Interesting that you mentioned discharged gunpowder. During my military training the smell of diesel, dust and lingering gunpowder left an indelible mark on my senses…
Yep, just something about it. My dad was military and I grew up shooting so that’s probably where I got it from.
Nice, interesting ones.
The smell of roasting or frying coriander seeds.
And also cooking fenugreek seeds.
Strawberry smells great too.
I even like the smell of gasoline. 🙂
Nice additions, Terveen, thank you!
