Workout 10/24/14: Squats & Deadlifts

I successfully got my rear end up at 5am and hit the gym this morning. Although I have been going, this was my first time back to the gym in the early AM. Breaking up the workouts like this will definitely work in keeping with my current schedule. I was able to get a hard and intense workout done inside the time frame I was hoping to, which is: warm up, training, cool down stretches, all within an hour.

After doing a finishing set of push ups after my press/ohp day and after repping out as many dips as I could on my chin/dip day, I decided to continue the trend and do as many reps with good form as I could as the last set of each exercise today.

Here are the details:


45lbs(bar) x10 x1, 85lbs x5 x1, 105lbs x5 x2, 115lbs x5 x2 (back to where I was before I cut back on the squats, feeling much better!), 65lbs x15 x1


45lbs(bar) x10 x1, 135lbs x5 x1, 155lbs x5 x2, 175lbs x5 x2, 135lbs x10 x1

….and I’m spent.
